Front End Developer

Since 2004, FIREANT STUDIO has focused on developing cutting-edge interactive solutions. We're looking for a front-end developer who can help us continue to produce top-of-the-line digital experiences for demanding but fun clients. About the job

As a front-end developer at FIREANT STUDIO, you will be integral to the success of the project, working with our designers to implement the designs and ensure that they are carried successfully through to completion. This entails HTML, CSS and JavaScript as well as an ability to accommodate the ever-growing list of devices and browsers.

While coding is the core function of this role, there are a few other things that we'll be looking for.

Ability to work well with others
Self-starter tendencies
Ability to multi-task
Attention to details (that's where the devil lives!)
Dedication required to meet a deadline
Interest and proven history in learning new methods and technologies
Ability to write effectively and without typos

This position is available now and is already loaded with work, so you'll need to hit the ground running.

Expected skills and experience are as follows:

2+ years front-end development experience
HTML5, CSS2/3, JavaScript (esp. jQuery)
Standards-compliant code
Device and browser testing
Experience with LESS or SCSS
Responsive Design techniques and methods
Basic Search Engine Optimization techniques
Comfort with version control tools (e.g., svn, git)
Photoshop Proficiency
Familiarity with PHP and open source cms such as Wordpress and Drupal

This is a full-time position. We're very serious about our work, but the team is cool, the projects are fulfilling and the Fridays allow for casual attire. As do the other days.

Job Description:

-A specialist responsible for developing great ideas and their visual execution in all online media.

-Must have strong design style and creative design solutions within the constraints of the Web.

-Work closely with our in-house developers and technology strategy teams ensure seamless integration between design and development

Job Requirements:

-Creates great visual design and concept for web-based products.

-Ensures the quality, craft and implementation of all work done on assigned projects.

-Optimizes the use of screen design and user interface.

-Works with strategy team to provide estimates and timing

-Collaborates with writers, art directors, strategists and clients.

-Understands the Client's business, brand, products and their customers.

-Assists with the development of navigational boards, creative concept, and production specs.

-Assists with the development of storyboard scripts and interface design.

-Initial front-end Flash animation and development of sites, web pages and banners in compliance with creative brief and production specs.

-Keeps project manager informed of status against schedule, budget, and client quality

-Works with strategy team to establish goals and timetables, review progress and problem solve.

-Reviews work to ensure that user experience is up to standards set by creative brief, production specs, user interface, and navigational boards

Social Media Intern

Description:

FIREANT STUDIO is seeking a Social Media Intern to assist with a variety of tasks related to our digital marketing campaigns. The Social Media Intern will work closely with our internal managers to monitor client brands across social and other digital channels, assist in client communication, and identify engagement opportunities. The intern will also be exposed to and learn more about integrating interactive development and marketing campaigns into the social sphere.

TASKS INVOLVED WITH INTERNSHIP

Assist team in daily engagement and maintenance of social networks
Continuously research sites, networks and topics for content development
Daily monitoring for high-alert negativity and engagement opportunities
Compile social monitoring alerts and month end reports
Communicate negative comments and engagement opportunities to account management team
Assist team in daily engagement and maintenance of social networks
Potential to become involved in link building and blogger outreach programs
Potential to assist in keyword and ad copy development for paid search campaigns
Potential to assist with display campaigns on social networks.

REQUIREMENTS

Willingness to learn
Keen attention to detail
Basic understanding of digital marketing industry
Experience with social networks on a personal and/or professional level
Excellent writing abilities
Familiarity with Google Docs, Microsoft Office
Enthusiasm for the industry and life in general
Ability to work well with others while maintaining degree of autonomy
